The Team
Russell Joyce of Joyce Design UK Ltd, one of UK's leading vehicle graphics companies, specialising in fleet, automotive and motorsport graphics: “The idea is simple - to create a race team that will offer the opportunity to access national marketing audiences and help talented drivers have the opportunity to drive in the most competitive racing championships.”
Power Maxed Racing who are powering the team with technical, engineering and race day support, have worked closely with Joyce Design (UK) Ltd for the last 4 years in a mutually beneficial relationship, exchanging and sharing expertise in their specialist fields. This type of B2B team partner affiliation is integral to the values and success of Skull Club, as we promote connections between likeminded businesses with crossover interests and a similar niche target market. Skull Club only chooses to work with the highest calibre of partner, which is certainly true of Joyce Design and Power Maxed Racing. As you will know, PMR are an extremely well-known and successful British Touring Car team with multiple podium finishes and race wins. In addition, many drivers both past and present have been supported by PMR in their racing careers and been winners of many Jack Sears' Trophies.

Motorsport Careers in The Championship
The VW Racing Cup is a breeding ground for many future British Touring Car and British GT drivers. In years gone by, we have seen many professional drivers move through the VW Championship including Michael Epps, Bobby Thompson and Stephen Johansen to name a few. The VW Racing Cup supports the British GT championships, which regularly receive over 1.4 million live stream views each year and 15,000 people visiting each round. Being part of this high-profile package gives the VW Racing Cup great exposure when it comes to marketing your business at a relatively low marketing budget.
We are also actively involved with the British Touring Car Championship and have opportunities for business partners to exploit the marketing potential of this prestigious championship. Team partners will gain wide media coverage reaching millions of people worldwide. However, partners will also achieve fantastic brand exposure both before and after the event itself, with plenty of visibility on social media and distribution materials as well as the chance to interact with our dedicated fans following the championships. By using multiple avenues to promote a brand, our team partners are guaranteed to become a recognisable name in the motorsport industry.

Racing Careers at Skull Club
Of course, our team partners depend on the success of our race team to attract attention to their brands. As such, we are actively looking for up and coming drivers to support the team and further their motorsport careers. We appreciate that it can be difficult to make that next step, and this is why if you are accepted on our programme we will assist with marketing and sourcing sponsorship. From time to time we offer Volkswagen Racing Cup Taster Sessions which are open to anyone who is seriously considering furthering their own motorsport racing career. You must have the budget to drive competitively and plenty of track experience under your belt. Such sessions carry a lot of interest, so drivers should book in advance to secure the opportunity to advance their motorsport careers.
